Dead Tired Ghoulia (EN)

Dead Tired Ghoulia is one of my all-time favourites.

She was also the first Ghoulia I have ever bought.
Here are pictures of the box, but since I didn't know that there would be so many Monster High dolls, I haven't taken proper photos of the box, so at least here is one together with Frankie.

EDIT: I managed to found pictures of the box after all.

And here is the complete series (or at least the part that was available here in shops: Ghoulia, Frankie, Draculaura and Cleo. The complete set is missing Lagoona and Clawdeen, who were released together with their beds, but weren't sold here).

Last year we got a re-release of Dead Tired - but just Frankie, Ula and Cleo - no Ghoulia, no Clawdeen, no Lagoona.

It's her third edition, she has hair almost the same as basic, just atone side, she has a shorter part of hair, (originally sewen to her head). She has parting on the other side than her basic release and she has less darker streaks.

She has the same "retro" glasses like basic, just in red. They have a little Skulette at the side (and you can see the shorter part of her hair here).

Underneath her glasses, Ghoulia has her signature eyebrows. She has silver and light pink eyeshadows and peach lips. She has her glasses on her faces, which made little dents at her nose, but if you rinse her few times with hot water, it would be OK.

As well as the rest of her series, she is wearing a pajama. Hers is whote with bright red blood stains. Fantastic!

Her top is shorter, with black ribbons that look like suspenders - which, together with a red bow (Bowties are cool!) pays tribute to her geek-chic style.

She has matching trousers with a short black skirt (it's all just one piece).

Unlike the others, she has no fastening at the back.

She has a matching sleep mask with black lining. It was attached on both sides of her head with little plastic Ts.

As the other ghouls, she is wearing fluffy slippers - hers are red with black glasses - just like Ghoulia's. And with vampire fangs.

She also has a bag of "Brain Puffs", Sleep-over card, red bruch and red stand, but I used a new second-hand one for this pictures, so she was missing all of these.

EDIT:
In the end, I was able to found one pack of Brain Puffs after all,. Itš plastic red cone with a cardboard box.

 

Dead Tired Ghoulia (CZ)

Dead Tired Ghoulia je jednou z mých nejoblíbenějších.

Byla také první Ghoulií, kterou jsem si koupila a patří mezi prvních pár monsterek, které jsem vůbec doma ubytovala. Ale tehdy jsem ještě netušila, že bude monsterek tolik, takže jsem nebyla úplně posedlá katalogizací, takže jenom jedna fotka krabice zepředu, dohromady s Frankie.

Nakonec jsem našla i fotky krabice samostatně. Asi už jsem posedlá byla.

A tady celá série (tedy, ta část, která byla dostupná u nás, tedy Ghoulia, Frankie, Draculaura a Cleo. Do sady patří ještě Lagoona a Clawdeen, které vyšly ve větším balení i s postýlkou a u nás se nikdy neprodávaly).

Loni vyšla reedice serie Dead Tired, ovšem pouze Frankie, Ula a Cleo - bez Ghoulinky a bez Lagoony a Clawdeen.

A tady je Ghoulia

Je to její třetí vydání, vlasy má skoro stejné jako její basic verze - jen po straně má jeden kratší pramínek. Původně ho měla přišitý po straně k hlavě, vedený přes čelo trochu jako ofinku. Oproti původní verzi má pěšinku na druhé straně a méně tmavších pramínků.

 Má stejné "retro" brýle jako basic, jen v červené barvě. Brýle mají po straně malou Skulette. (tady na téhle fotce je dobře vidět ten kratší pramínek).

Pod brýlemi má Ghoulia své krásné prohnuté obočí. Má stříbrně lesklé a lehce růžové oční stíny a broskvově růžové rty. (v krabici měla brýle na obličeji, čili jí zůstaly malé otlaky, ale ty lze bez problémů odstranit dvojím či trojím přelitím horkou vodou).

Jako ostatní ze serie má na sobě Ghoulinka pyžamo. To její je bílé, s černými doplňky a s rudými skvrnami od krve. Naprosto dokonalé!

Triško je kratší, s černými stužkami po stranách, které mají připomínat šle - což spolu s červenou mašlí místo motýlka evokuje její šprtí styl.

K tomu má kalhoty pod kolena, s černo-červeno-bílým lemem a s krátkou černou sukýnkou.

Na rozdíl od ostatních nemá Ghoulia kalhoty na zapínání, ale má je jen natahovací.

K tomu má i ladící pásku přes oči s černým lemováním.

A k tomu má, jako všechny z téhle série, chlupaté bačkůrky s obličejem. Ty její jsou jasně červené a mají černé brýle ve stejném tvaru, jako má Ghoulia.

K tomu všemu měla Ghoulia ještě pytlík mozkových křupek "Brain Puffs" v papírovém obalu, kartičku a červený stojánek a hřebínek.

Geek Shriek Ghoulia Yelps (EN)

In 2014 Mattel released two series of Geek Shriek ghouls, together they were: Frankie, Gigi, Catty, Howleen, Abbey and Ghoulia. All ghouls have kinda simple outfits and big glasses.

Story of my Ghoulia: In November, I managed to win an ebay auction for a really nice price. It was the last Ghoulia doll (except the SDCC one) missing in my Ghoulia Collection (or at least I thought so, I forgot the Date one)- She was supposed to arrive withinga  week via the Global SHipping Program. SO I waited... for a week... two weeks... and nothing. The tracking number provided did not work. So I sent a meage to the seller, asking about her. He replied, that he had sent her on the GSP llong time ago and that I have to ask them. When I asked him how, when my tracking number doesn't work - he hasn't replied. So I waited, hoping, but she did not arrive. So I got my money back (after some struggles). He didnť even reply when I asked if he doesnť have one other, because she was of almost a half price from what I could get from ebay (because this one was from the UK and the other were from USA and the postage from there is absolutelly horrible).
But I managed to get a second-hand one after some time.


So here she is (no in-box pictures this time)

She wears a light gray T-shirt with black skull ornaments. Neither the sleeves, not the bottom of the shirt has hemming. And she has a red bowtie - because BOWTIES ARE COOL! (Not sure if Mattel meant it that way, tho :D)

She has a simple gray skirt with red geometrical ornamenta and black galsses (same as her own) and eyeballs. The skirt has only a rubber band, no fastening at the back. 

She wears simple red shoes (even tho these would look way better and would match the outfit better if they had at least gray shoelaces!) This type was recycled numerous times (Ghoulia's Comic Club Fashion pack, Studen Disembody Council, Coffin Bean...)

Her only accessory are these glasses - retro, pointy, black with white "tape" in the middle.

Ghoulia has vivid blue eyes as usual, her eyeshadows are silver and she has a red lips (I sol love the vivid colors on her lips, looks great on her!). Unfortunately, this ghoul has each eye in different size and they are not aligned, but whatever, you can't see that much behind the glasses.

Her hair is tied a ponytail, slightly moved to one side. Her hair is darker and shorter than usual, and it's not her usual light doll-grade kanekalon. Unfortunately, as you can see, her hair is a bit thin and very, VERY greasy :(

And when I undressed her, I found that she has a awful stain on her collarbone. And that the t-shirt probably stained her arm. It won't be visible when I display her in her original clothes, but still...

Even tho this line is supposed to be a "budget" line and even tho they recycled eyerything the could and made the clothes as plain as they could, and even tho these dolls have no accessories (except the glasses - they have no stand and no brush, they don't have pierced hair and have no jewellery), they are pretty expensive. And because they were released in limited amounts and weren't sold everywhere, the prices get even higher. Well done, Mattel!

Monster High Geek Shriek Ghoulia Yelps (CZ)

V roce 2014 vydal Mattel dvě řady série Geek Shriek, kde vyšly: Frankie, Gigi, Catty, Howleen, Abbey a Ghoulia. Všechny panenky na sobě mají poměrně jednoduché oblečky a k tomu výrazné brýle.

Příběh mé Geek Shriek Ghoulie: V listopadu se mi podařilo na ebayi ulovit Geek Shriek Ghoulii z Anglie za velice hezkou cenu. Je to totiž (krom SDCC Ghoulie) předposlední Ghoulinka, která mi schází do sbírky. Měla dorazit za necelý týden přes Global Shipping Program. A tak jsem čekala... týden, dva týdny, nic. Tak jsem psala prodejci. Ten mi odpověděl, že se musím ptát na GSP, že on to odelal už dávno. Když jsem nemaohla najít číslo balíčku, ani vlastně koho se zeptat, tak jsem mu psala, jestli by mi neposlal alespoň číslo balíčku, nebo koho přesně kontaktovat. Neodpověděl. Tak jsem ještě čekala, jestli náhodou nepřijde. Nepřišla. Tak mi sice po určitých dohadech (a opět bez odpovědi) rovnou vrátil peníze, i když jsem se ho ptala, jeslti nemá další panenku, protože jsem po ní vážně toužila a ostatní na ebayi byly za minimálně dvojnásobek. No, nicméně se nedávno na prodej objevila alespoň použitá :)

Takže tady je:

Na sobě má Ghoulinka šedé tričko s černým vzorkem lebek. Tričko má takové jako trochu balonkové rukávy, které ale dole nejsou ani obroubené, stejně jako spodní okraj trička. Všemu dodává šmrnc červený motýlek - protože Motýlky jsou prostě cool!

K tomu má Ghoulia jednoduchou šedou sukýnku s červeným geometrickým vzorem, přes který jsou "poházené" krví podlité bulvičky a brýle. Sukýnka je jen na gumu, nemá zapínání.

Na nohou má Ghoulinka červené botičky, které už byly několikrát recyklovány (Ghouliin Fashion Pack, Student Disembody Council,...). Nemají ani domalované detaily, i když šedé tkaničky by jim rozhodně prospěly a celé by pak lépe ladily ke zbytku oblečení.

V podstatě jediným doplnkěm, který k sobě Ghoulia má jsou velké výrazné brýle, trochu v retro stylu, černé, uprostřed mezi obroučkami jakoby slepené páskou.

Ghoulinka má jako obvykle jasně modré oči. Oční stíny má stříbrné, rtěnku jasně červenou (tyhle jasnější barvy jí opravdu sluší). Bohužel má každé oko dost jiné, ale pod brýlemi to až tak moc vidět není.

Jako účes si zombie-šprtka zvolila ohon, lehcec na straně. Vlasy má Ghoulie kratší a tmavější, než obvykle. A také to není lehký doll-grade kanekalon, jaký mívá jindy. Má jich poměrně málo a jsou extra mastné :(

A když jsem panenku svlékla, tak jsem bohužel objevila ještě dvě nemilá překvapení. Paneka má na klíční kosti ošklivý flek a tričko pravděpodobně barví, tákže na rameni má ještě další fleky.

Naštěstí ani jedno z toho nebude vidět, když ji budu mít vystavenou v originálním oblečení, ale i tak to zamrzí.
Když to shrnu, edice je dělaná jako "úsporná", takže recyklovali, co mohli, oblečky mají co nejjednodušší stříh, panenky nemají žádné doplňky (krom brýlí - v krabici není ani stojánek ani hřebínek, panenky nemají ani píchnuté uši). Serie by tedy měla být celkem levná, ale není. Navíc jich asi vyšlo poměrně málo, takže se hodně špatně shání a úměrně tomu roste cena.
